Experienced Leadership Ready To Move the Flagship Chapter Forward.
For these reasons and so much more, I ask for your support and vote to become the next First Vice Polemarch of the Washington (DC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Yours In the Bond,
Brother Gordon-Andrew Fletcher, Esq.

Brothers All,
I come to you with much humility and respect as I seek to become the next First Vice Polemarch of the Washington (DC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. As many of you know, I have dedicated a significant part of my life to serving Kappa over the last 20 years. In addition, I have learned from you and become a better man and Kappa man because of your help and guidance. I understand the meaning of being a brother's brother and want to exude that as I embark on this journey. Over the years, I have had the unique opportunity to serve our fraternity on the highest levels as an undergraduate as the Eastern Province Junior Vice Polemarch and Kappa Chi Polemarch. In addition, I have served the Flagship Chapter on the alumni level in several positions including Lt. Strategus, Asst. Keeper of Records, Board-member (twice), Committee Chair, Kappa Chi Chapter Advisor, and now Second Vice Polemarch. I understand Kappa from both an undergraduate lens as well as an alumni lens, which is critical as the Flagship Chapter is on the cusp of celebrating 100 years. Most importantly, I have bonded with you and created some amazing Kappa memories during this time. With that being said, I am ready to take the next step in serving Kappa and the Flagship Chapter.
I am running on a platform focused on five main objectives:
1
2
3
4
5
We must continue to bridge the gap between alumni, undergraduates, and more seasoned brothers to build a deeper bond and succession planning.
We must focus on reaching 300+ brothers on our membership roster.
We must protect our most prized possession which is our Kappa House through advocating for a property tax waiver through the DC Council as a legacy black organization.
We must do everything in our power to obtain the needed resources to expand our Guide Right Program to train more young men and our Community Service Program to serve more DC residents.
We must continue to be innovative with events that attract new and younger brothers like “Kappa En Blanc”, while ensuring that we preserve our rich legacy and history with events such as “Passing the Loving Cup” during Founders’ Day.
